a picture speaks a thousand words.....

Can you see the story on Mama Cony's face? The story of difficult times, the many times she has been on her knees, the countless times she has sought the face of the Lord, has cried out to Him on behalf of the orphan. Can you see the lines that have been made from countless tears and feelings of hurt for the child she has cared for? See the lines caused by worry and concern, wondering what will happen to these kids? Wrinkles that show love for these kids. It reflects times like when she hosted school in their children's home because the school building wasn't ready in time to start the school year. This face tells of the times she brought in yet another mouth to feed when they had nothing more to give. On her face I see the many times she smiled to light up a room as God's faithfulness was shown to her once again. Provision after provision and she was aware of them all careful not to miss how faithful God is. Mama Cony's confidence is clearly seen on her face. Not confidence in herself but in the God she serves faithfully. We are blessed to work with such a woman of God. God Bless Mama Cony.
