Christmas Eve Party with Casa Hogar Douglas

There were about half of the kids (35) at Casa Hogar Douglas who didn't get to go home for Christmas. Traditionally B2B hosts a Christmas Eve party for these kids. Our family had the opportunity to take part this year. We shared a meal, made crafts and had the traditional pinata. I think all had a good time. Here are a few shots of those that attented. Merry Christmas.

Love it. I remember when Caroline was 2 we were at the Douglas Christmas Eve party and Caroline passed out the gifts and everyone touched her red hair as she came by. We also had a white elephant at Renee Gonzonlas' house now on the property and they mexicans were having a hard time understanding the concept but we're really into stealing the gifts toward the end. Miss you all! Happy New Year! - Chris

Hope that last post came out ok. I'm not implying that mexicans steal they just got the concept of taking the better gift in the game. - you know what I mean! But I want your readers to understand that too! - Chris

Hey Cathy! So great to hear from you! I spent quite a bit of time last night reading through your families blog, wow! What a blessing it must be to serve together as a family day in, day out!
Thanks for the words of encouragement, Liz has been a fighter. We are thankful for the treatment that she has already had and taking it one day at a time. We have much to be thankful for!
Great to see your parents in some of your pictures! Did you notice the picture of the gifts Steve Imhoff gave us for Christmas? Imagine that, Steve Imhoff involved in a selfless act! Thanks again Cathy! It was great to hear from you!!! Randy Lothrop
