Blessed are those who are poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matt. 5:3

Edgar and Cony are the directors of a children's home called Manatial de Amor. I spoke to them in June and they were exhausted. They run their home in two different locations and also help Cony's parents who run a home in a third location. They labor hard to minister to the children they care for. They are not paid separately but receive whatever the home receives. They have four girls ages 7,5 and twin one year olds. They rely on the Lord for all their needs. This summer a church from Cincinnati came to Monterrey to serve B2B, they had a chance to work with Manantial de Amor and Edgar and Cony. During the week they saw the love and dedication that this couple had for the ministry for which God has called them. After their week, God put it on their hearts to do something special for Edgar and Cony. With the help of this church, Edgar and Cony were able to have a great 24 hour get away. They enjoyed a great dinner, an overnight stay at a hotel and breakfast. The opportunity to get away and have money to truly enjoy one another was priceless. I know that for Edgar and Cony, theirs is the kingdom of God, however for one night they also enjoyed the rewards of things here on earth.

Hey Huffer's! My name is Holly Metzger from AHUMC. We spoke a few Sundays ago when you all were in town. I found a website for the camp in Monterrey I served at about a month ago. Check it out!
